Very helpful but maybe not most direct routesnIt was certainly helpful to have GPS driving in Nicaragua, as most of the roads are not at all marked. However, I do think this map calculated not the most direct routes from one place to another (not sure if this is a function of the map or of our Garmin). Many though not all of the destinations we searched for were included. We used it mainly for driving from Managua to Granada and the surrounding attractions, to San Juan del Sur, and on Ometepe. Not sure the coverage outside these areas.

Little detail not too accuratenI went to Nicaragua recently and used your map on my Garmin GPS. Many of the main roads were off by a lot against my tracking course. Important info was missing such as the airport, large hotels, embassy, major retail, Sinsa,Pali,Colonial, gas stations. I don't know if you can use my tracking to improve your product. Let me know.

Mustn't have been updated since the Sandinista warnIf you plan to use it as an actual navigator, it 's NOT worth $50. Provides an interesting aerial view of where you are going, but don't expect it to take you where you want to go.

Used it to go from Esteli to Leon and ended out driving on a dirt road for an hour and half instead of the highway. Then it could not find my hotel. Using Waze was fat better. I spent my money using your GPS map of Nicaragua.

Use Nicaragua Map with Caution!nWe used the map to navigate a rental car around Nicaragua for a week. One critical section of road to our hotel on the coast was missing and the GPS routed us nonsensically hours out of the way. Also, some of the streets in Masaya were shifted a half block. Still, the map was useful for most navigation needs.

Working MAP but few POInI installed this Map on my Nuvi 200W, worked fine, no issues at installation, but once I started to check for my POI, which includes the best steakhouses and restaurants no one of those appears at such, I have to go to Google maps look for my places, locate them and the save them to this map. at least routing seems to work well.

Worked wellnDownloaded as described here to my Garmin which I had not used in 4 years. Also had to install a new battery from Amazon. Worked well with a small hitch in Managua which seemed to place my path, one street over to the left consistently, but we did little driving in Managua, so this was mostly an annoyance. However, worked well in Leon, Corinto, Chinandega, Selva Negra, Matagalpa, Masaya, Catarina, Granada and San Juan del Sur and related beaches to north and south. Tracked some obscure backroads quite well since we had rented a 4WD. I would recommend that you use in concert with maps.me on your phone for backup. NOTE - when you arrive in Managua expect your Garmin to need about an hour to lock the satellites, then it is smooth sailing afterwards.
