Haiti UsernI have been dependent on this map for crossing the DR and travel in Haiti. In some of the small DR towns, when they close off roads for celebrations/holidays, it may get a bit more difficult as the "non-obligatory one-ways" are not always correct but no one cares. Great Product.

SatisfactionnThe service, download, and product download were excellent. The new update will be put to the test in about a month as I cross the DR to Haiti and hopefully add some new roads to the Haiti Map in the Central Plateau in the eastern mountains. DR GPS MAPnOverall good impression first trip. Some sections of toll road heading north from Santo Domingo heading to Samana show turns that do not exist, and at one point showed a hairpin on-ramp connection crossing on-coming traffic that was not necessary since the existing on-ramp had a normal curve leading upward to highway. Definitely useful for car travel!

Maps for Run For Life HaitinI needed routable mapping to be used in a Garmin nuvi for the Run For Life Haiti support team in the upcoming 315 mile run by Barry McDonald in January 2013.



The download and installation through Base Camp was easy with the detailed instructions covering all the steps.



As I had chosen the Dominican Republic and Haiti map bundle, it was necessary to select a town in both regions to get Base Camp to load both maps into the nuvi.



Map detail appears to be good and I have been able to create a simulated route with voice guided nav. We will see how the mapping performs in January.

SD Memory Card

If you’d prefer the convenience of not installing the map yourself, we can ship you the map preloaded onto a SD memory card via US Postal Service Priority Mail. Just plug it in to your Garmin unit and you’ll be ready to go!

Customers are eligible for one free update from their purchased map version (e.g., v1.0 to v1.1).

After the free update, new updates can be purchased for 50% off by selecting the update option in our online store.
