Could not get map to load on one of the Garmin models listed.

The installation instructions that come with the purchase of this map are nearly null. We used 4 Windows machines of different opeting systems. Then we tried a Mac. Hours of wasted time. Then we hired a computer geek who had a challenging time with it as well.

He finally deduced that it had been installed already. This is a horror show. The only way to know if you were truly successful is to go to the country and try it out. By the way it did work.

Belize maps not easy to load onto GPSnThis map download was not east to get on my GPS. Had to call up my computer savvy son to load it.

Belize Maps PerformancenHonestly, Belize maps was not useful at all on any of the Cayes although they are small, however purchase value was disappointing. On the flip side mainland Belize was a bit more detailed but still not trust worthy, no road speed indicator or accurate names of location acquiring.

So it was mostly an excellent product. Two issues. One, the address we stayed at was not available. Had to pick one of the four roads in Hopkins. Second, your product wanted to take me out of the way. They were short detours but they were down what were essentially farm paths. Fortunately, I could see on the map where you were putting me back on the main road.

Just OKnSeemed to get lost and had to reroute alot

Helpful but not greatnThis map picked up most of the major roads in Belize that we drove, but had difficulty calculating routes. We could not enter an address, as it thought we were in the Cayman Islands and gave us only choices of cities there, though we were in Belize. It had some of the hotels/attractions/restaurants in POI, so we could select those, but sometimes even when we were on a highway it would say "unable to calculate route to destination". Fortunately I had entered whatever hotels/attractions we knew we wanted to visit into the system as Favorites using the Garmin software on my desktop before uploading the map to the SD card for the garmin device, and was able to select these from Favorites, which helped some. So, it was helpful to have, but didn't work as well as maps purchased from Garmin (who unfortunately doesn't have one for Belize).

Better than nothingnWhen in the area of the world that has little cell phone coverage, this was absolutely necessary. To a great extent it got us where we were going, but on the one trip we really needed it, it wasn't even close to where we were going and in fact told us to turn 2-3 kilometers early and the wrong direction, when going to a Belizean National Park. Not sure how it made that big a mistake.



the other thing that would be nice with this map would be warnings about the single lane bridges or the speed bumps that have the ability to take out some cars. considering their size, it shouldn't be too difficult to map them. It was better than having nothing, because signage (particularly with distances) are almost nonexistent in Belize, but it could have been a lot better
