South Africa mapnThe map which I purchased was for South Africa. I mainly needed it for Cape Town, Pretoria and Johannesburg . Every address that I entered into my Garmin came with the same reply, "address not found, check the spelling and try again". I would understand if these were new addresses but they have been around for years. It could not even take me to any intersection which I entered. I finally gave up and started using Waze which is a completely free app that has taken me to every address that I have entered.

I dealt with customer service a couple of times and always received a "canned" response which did me no good. Customer service is only as good as a company makes it. This company failed all around.

I would highly recommend that if you purchase this map you will be throwing your money away.

Worst ever map informationnPlease do not waste your money by downloading this so-called map of South Africa. Not even 10% of street names of the towns are on this map. When entering an address, towns are duplicated and each has only a small number of street names. This site is misrepresenting what you are paying for. How can,"This GPS map will give you turn by turn directions to your destination using a POI (point of interest), city point and/or latitude and longitude with the ability to preplan driving destinations before getting into your car. Includes thousands of POI's such as hotels, restaurants, fuel stations, and more.", when ALL the street names are not available ?

Easy to load and all the places are there, second purchase from GPS Travel Maps, you can't go wrong with these guys and great value for money.

Excellent And Easy Map Installation InstructionsnRecently purchased the RSA map for installing on an EU configured Garmin Nuvi 2599 and 55. Installation went in very smoothly due to excellent instruction in unzipping and installing files facilitating seamless USB port transfer directly to the devices. Post install checks showed no errors at all. Must commend Travel Maps for the most professional support!

Purchase with superb e-mail contact with NicolenThis has been one of the most satisfactory experiences that I have had when purchasing something online. The charming Nicole went well beyond the call of duty to assist and guide me through the complicated task, made more difficult because I had somehow tried to make the purchase using what must have been a mirror website, identical to yours, except at the end. I needed particular guidance because I had just loaded the latest substantial European maps onto my Garmin device (I have lifetime updates) and had been told by Garmin that the device's memory now contained data that, if I changed the SD card to have a new one for my South African maps (which was what Nicole had recommended) I might lose something in the main memory which would prevent the Garmin from working in future! We resolved this, and I was finally able to have the South African maps on the new SD card - and find that all is well. Thank you very much indeed Nicole. Good wishes.
