Here are a few notes from people that have used our maps.
The Belize map worked very well for us in Belize. Unfortunately I forgot to pack my charger so I could only use it for a couple of days. But I will be sure to bring it for our next trip! Saved us the cost of renting a GPS while we were there.
All things considered it is a good product so far. it is able to find a lot of things. It has a lot of the roads on it and I have added my own features and sites to aid me in returning these places.
I was happy with the accuracy and functionality of the Belize map. While it does not have a huge POI database, it was a great tool to help me get around the roads in the countryside where I was traveling. I have no doubt it works well in the cities too, but I was in the rural areas for all of my driving.
Our Belize trip was enhanced by the ability to supplement paper map navigation with our GPS. Many of the secondary roads that were on the TravelMaps GPS version did not even show up on the paper map - which was published only a year ago. It would be nice to have some way to show on GPS maps which roads are unpaved vs. paved (tho' perhaps I've missed that detail). Many good POI's - but several of our hotels were not included. Overall, nice job and thanks!
It has always puzzled me why companies building GPS units don't commit more resources to providing detailed maps of the whole planet. One would think it would improve their market several fold. Whatever their oversight, I'm just glad we have companies like GPS Travel Maps to take up the slack without gouging the consumer. GPS Travel Maps saves the day for those of us that travel to small obscure places and they do a great job of keeping all their maps updated. Hats off to them and I always recommend them highly to those asking me about GPS coverage in other parts of the world.
There are many points of interest in the map data. Belmopan and Belize City have good coverage. The main highways are also well mapped out.

I purchased a copy of your Belize map just before Christmas and we used it with a Garmin GPS unit to find our way from Cancun to Guatemala and all over Belize. We travelled through the Mayan mountains on Christmas eve, stopping at some points along the way to Hopkins, where my sister has a small resort. We were very pleased and amazed at the accuracy and usefulness of the routing features. Driving the Hummingbird Highway can be interesting even during the daytime, and your map helped us navigate in heavy fog, in the middle of the night. Thank you very much. We had a wonderful time and used the Belize maps to show the locals things they were unaware of.
