mistakes and many POI's not includednOne night we set out for a restaurant at a resort that has been around for years.The GPS had us drive right by the road we needed and then took us down the road that led to one of the Pitons.It was getting dark and we were on a road that had switchbacks and clearly wasn't where we needed to go.We figured out that we were in the wrong place and fortunately the road was wide enough that we were able to turn around.On another day we went into Soufriere and we needed to get gas before we headed out.The GPS completely messed up and took us out of the town and then back via the Sulphur Springs, We were on empty by then, but thankfully the man at the entrance to the Volcano let us drive through so we wouldn't have to go uphill and back the other way. On our drive back to the airport, the GPS took us on a very poor road that went up and down and back and forth and ran parallel to the road we should have been on.All in all, not very impressive and not worth the money we spent on it.

map of st lucianmost attractions we needed were not even listed on the GPS. Like our hotel! Found the GPS unuseful. Would appreciate a refund....

Saint Lucia Garman GPS MapnI was disappointed that the maps only showed the two main roads around the island. It also only showed the two main cities of Castries and Soufriere and the Hewanorra Airport. I was expecting more detail of the other towns and roads.

Limited on Garmin 62snUsers should be aware that handheld GPSs will not display all the functionality of the maps on the micro SD. I assume a car based sat nav would give more complete maps, POIs, voice instructions etc which my Garmin 62 s doesn't.

All biased for sat nav use; no off road features such as footpaths.

St Lucia mapnGot you to where you wanted to go. I was surprised on how accurate it was. The only issue I had was that at times it would take you down some back roads instead of the roads considered the proper routes.

Got me around nThanks. Managed to get around OK using the map. Beautiful Island. Took a few excursions to The Pitons, Rodney Bay & Castries. Watched the GPS as we tracked from the airport in the SE to the resort in the NW part of the island.

Driving in St LucianOk so the maps have to downloaded and routes set before you go, but still way better that trying to find a decent paper map of St Lucia. A word of caution though, if the route planner suggests using unnamed "road", look very very carefully for alternatives. Some "roads" were damaged during the storms over Christmas of 2013 and some "roads" (especially in the north of the island I found) are just are not passable. Well, they weren't in the 4WD w/optional terrified wife that I had.
