I was on a self drive trip with a guide vehicle leading the way. Drove from UB west to Tavan Bodg visiting several lakes on the way, south to Kherman Tsav, Khongorin Els, Flaming Cliffs and back to UB. The main tracks were shown, most of the minor tracks but not the obscure tracks the guide knew.

better than nothingnRouting is a problem. I think that the Mongolian Government doesn't provide route updates. Because I know Ulaanbaatar well, I know that the route from the State Department store to Millie's Espresso is incorrect since it shows a left turn from Chingis by the Grand Irish pub. There are no left turns allowed from Peace Ave, to Peace Bridge. The route from Murun to Erdenbulgan is also incorrect, the prefered route along A0902 (which is paved) East to 49 32.099N 101 52.915E. Then North to Erdenbulgan. The route chosen by the GPS Map goes on a poorly maintained dirt road that is often difficult to navigate due to Mud or snow.
