Why Buy A Map For Your GPS Device?
On average the cost of renting a GPS from a car rental company is US$12 per day in addition to your standard car rental fees. By using your own Garmin GPS and purchasing a map for your travel destination, you will begin saving money within days and the map is yours to use on subsequent trips.
GPS devices are great to use while traveling because they work worldwide without needing a cell phone signal or other paid service to operate. However, without a map, the GPS won't be able to provide road navigation outside of your home area/country. By purchasing a map and installing it on your GPS device, you'll be able to use your Garmin to provide you accurate car navigation, attentive installation help from our staff if you need it and you'll get the most out of your travels!
Here are a few notes from people that have used our maps.
We recently purchased and used the GPS Barbados map and were pleasantly surprised with its accuracy. We would recommend it for others to use.
I've been going to Barbados every winter for the last 35 years. About 10 years ago, I scanned a paper map of Barbados and created a home made GPS. Although it was not a road map, it told me at least where I was. A few years ago, I found the GPSMap- Barbados and purchased it. It was a very good product but has some minor issues with accuracy of information. Every year I updated the map and every year I found the product improved. What I found most impressive is the very high level of the support team. I found it by far the best among all support teams in computer related products that I've dealt with. I feel very comfortable dealing with them. I am very happy with the product as well. Thank you.
Very good to use in the main roads of the island and have almost the points of interest that you'll need, but I had some troubles when the GPS route use small roads. Most of these have space enough for one car, are dirt road or have dead ends. So take a look in the route before driving and keep yourself in the "yellow roads" as long as possible!
I have been using the Barbados map which I purchased since February 26. To date, I have found the map to be extremely accurate and very useful. The purchase and installation process were bother performed in a professional manner. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this product to anyone traveling to Barbados who is looking for a GPS application, thank you
I used the map with a Garmin GPSmap 60CS. The map is very exact what was very helpful to navigate on highways and also on small and narrow roads in the country side for example to find Cove Bay. Lots of POI are also included.
Our map worked excellent!
I downloaded and installed the map without a hitch, as usual. Thanks so much for all the work that you and your team have put into these maps. You have been a huge help to countless travelers!
After searching online for a map of Barbados for my new GPS, I was thrilled to find GPSTravelMaps.com since they are the only game in town for a country-specific map (where you don't have to buy one for the entire planet!). The service provided was fantastic, and Aaron went above and beyond to assist if I needed it. The map is detailed, easy to follow, and has excellent POIs. Not once did we get lost! Thanks again, money well spent!!
